The Urban Developer, in partnership with Wolter Consulting Group, presents Circular Economy for the Property Industry, a practical workshop demonstrating the value of circular economy principles in the built environment to real estate developers, investors and owners.
So, what is the circular economy?
As opposed to the “take-make-waste” industrial model, the application of circular economy principles to real estate assets can lower costs, reduce negative environmental impacts and significantly improve our built environment.
Resource price volatility and supply chain uncertainty has meant that the investment case for the transition of real estate assets to a circular economy is growing by the day.
The workshop will prove the business case for the circular economy, providing practical examples of how circular economy principles have been implemented by the property sector globally.
Attendees can expect to develop an understanding of the principals of circular economy, different business models, capital structures, operational and corporate considerations and real life global examples.
